Our Community

SJWS Exco

As well as important conservation and planning matters affecting our community, the St John's Wood Society takes an active interest in transport and traffic in NW8. The Society is also concerned with the preservation of trees, particularly when they are the subject of planning applications.

The Society organises several events during the course of the year, such as a tree walk, a visit to a garden or place of interest, the Autumn talk and the Annual General Meeting later in the year. In addition, the Society works closely with other groups in the area: the St John's Wood History Group, Lord's Neighbourhood Group and Marylebone Cricket Club, Transport for London, Westminister City Council and the local police.
